Iain Armitage, who played the younger version of Jim Parsons' Big Bang Theory character Sheldon Cooper in the spinoff, took to Instagram recently to share a series of photos from his trip to the White House with his TV mom, actress Zoe Perry.
In the first image, Armitage and Perry posed side-by-side wearing winter coats, both grinning for the camera. Another shot showed the pair posing behind a podium inside the White House with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
The photos seemed to make Armitage's followers nostalgic.
"I miss young Sheldon!!" declared one fan.
"I'm so impressed that the kids who starred in Young Sheldon seem to be doing well and haven't succumbed to the pitfalls of many child actors. Keep it up! We all miss the show," agreed a second person.
While at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala in October, Armitage opened up to People about how he'd been spending his time since Young Sheldon ended.
“I just got my pilot's license, or my student pilot's license,” he said.
“I hopefully will get my private [pilot’s license] when I'm 17. And I've been having a bunch of fun flying while I'm here in L.A.," he continued, adding that he "actually turned 16 with my grandmother in the plane on my 16th birthday.”
